What? No artist? From the looks of this comic I can’t tell, can you?
Shut up.
Anyway, I don’t think the art will get any better, so get used to it!
Why would she quit you ask? Well, let me tell you in my favorite medium: a play.
Will: Hey, do art stuff!
Cierra: I’m trying, calm down.
Will: I’m a dick, do art stuff faster and better!
Cierra: You’re not that big of a dick, just hold on.
Will: No, Will no hold on! Will no refer to himself in the 3rd person!
Cierra: Will, you just referred—
Will: Cierra no paid to talk, just draw and look pretty!
Cierra: …You don’t pay me…
Will: Not with that attitude I don’t!
Cierra: Look, you need to get your shit together and grow up.
Will: Ur MOM!
Cierra: …
Will: That’s what she said!
Exit Cierra.
Ok, so that might be a slight exaggeration, but not by much.
Moving on.
So yeah, if she won’t read this and forgive me then I’ll be looking for a new artist. Trust me, neither of us want to see me do the art. When I do, I have to limit my ideas to what I can draw and copy-paste from other comics which, as you can see, yields less than desirable results.
In other news, I wrote two new short, very short, plays that I might be entering into a play festival about food. They are supposed to be a satire on “food through the ages” or something, but I just kinda wrote. One is about health food trends and the other is some post-apocalyptic play about cheese. I dunno. Check them out!
Hey, we have a store button now! Yeah, you can check out our new store by clicking here or on the tab and link above. All we have for sale right now are buttons, but it’s a start! Or you can just donate, either way.
At the time of writing this, my friend is using a “Total Gym” as a rocket launcher and shooting at my brother who stands in the kitchen. He quickly picked up a stool and used it as a mini-gun. I’m caught in the crossfire and, needless to say, am finally dead.
It’s not so bad really.

Did anyone else notice that viewership skyrocketed this week? Just me? Oh, okay. Well, we went from 50 unique views with about 300 pages views on any good day to a record high of 3.1k unique and up to 8.3k page views! Yeah, that’s right. Did we suddenly get popular overnight? No. I spent a nice wad on advertising folks. But it worked! Just don’t forget to “fan” the Facebook page or follow us on Twitter off to the right.
Check out our new poll on the left there! It’s all about how you give your feedback. I always love reading your comments and stuff, even the ones that tell me I suck!
Those hold a special place in my heart; I save ‘em.
Also, you’ll see at the VERY bottom of the page that we are listed on a few webcomic databases and it would be helpful to check out our listing and “vote” or “subscribe” or whatever they want you to do.
Thanks!
That’s free advertising!
On an unrelated note, I spent a lot of time playing Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game on Xbox 360 this week. I’d invite you all to play with me but it doesn’t have online play! You can however add me on XBL if you’d like to kick my ass at the game of your choice.
Just send me a message that you’re an IDK fan and we’ll rumble.

Back to business…
Speaking of business, did you know that this site has become my small business now? I still work as a teacher and server (at a place that involves a color and a bird—figure it out) but I spend all that money on food… err… the comics! I believe in my product so much that I drop nice sums of money on promotional materials like pens and buttons to give away as well as shovel cash into the advertising furnace. Anyway, what I’m saying is that it would be awfully nice of you to donate something (anything) to keep this place up and running. Check out the donate page to see what kind of swag you can get! Speaking of swag…
We have an online store front being built by an inept, but dedicated, fool as we speak. Okay, it’s me, but I’m trying okay? We’ll have our buttons, some prints, and maybe a shirt or two for you soon enough.
And finally, I’m in a play in Tempe, AZ right now called “The Kitchen Witches”. I’ll be giving away a ticket to a randomly selected fan the week before the show opens (Sept 17th is opening night). If you would like to be put into the raffle please comment on this blog and I’ll add your name to the list. You can pick the time and night but I only have 1 ticket to give away. Sorry. We all know IDK fans don’t have any friends anyway!
Side note: I’m noticing that my niche is more of a genre.

Below is the video from the first webcast of Live Taxis from LiveTaxis.com.
Just a heads up, there is no laugh track and the audience is not mic’ed like a show you might see on TV. The only sound source going into the camera is one of the 2 mics I am holding. I mention this because when I watch this it looks like I am bombing and taking weird pauses, but people are laughing and semi-listening.
I was funny! I swear!
Just click the little dot I marked on the timeline to watch my set. Comment and tell me how you thought it went.
Enjoy!

If you are just surfing the web tonight, I recommend checking out “Live Taxis” from 4pm to 8pm (AZ time). It’s a live webcast of… I’m not sure really. I don’t know much about it other than I was asked to do some comedy.
What? Comedy? But the New Times said you suck!
Well, they are right, but we all have to make a living using whatever we have (my mouth).
So check out Live Taxis tonight! When I find out what time I’m on I’ll Facebook update and Tweet about it.
New giveaway items– Pens!
That’s right; you will soon be able to lose your very own IDK Pen in the bottom of your purse, glove compartment, or fellow ComicCon Comrade’s eye!
Want one? Comment/Email me! I’ll even mail you one!
Stay tuned for more updates!

“Consider this my two weeks notice…”
Wow. 100 comics? That’s 100 jokes… kinda. If I put half as much effort into my stand-up I’d have my own sitcom by now. I’ve stuck with this project for about a year now, that’s longer than my relationships! How did it all begin? Check out our new About page to learn all about it. Yes, it took us a year to write an about page. We’re good like that.
For all you faithful fans, there is a poll to the side that lets you declare your loyalty. Vote!
The big plan for 100 comics was to create a book with all these comics in them to sell to fans and sit around in boxes in my room. I planned on making a bedroom set out of the stacked boxes like Legos. After reading about the printing trials of XKCD’s book and the books of Steam Crow I don’t know if I am ready for that yet. Besides, that would be a pretty short book don’t you think? Would you pay for 100 strips you can read online for free? … I mean, yeah! I would! Well, there is a lot of work/time/money that goes into it, so I’ll stick to small, staple-bound prints from my inkjet for now.
As of right now we don’t offer any merch, but we have plenty of designs and ideas! Oh yeah, and buttons, we have those. I think just about everyone has a button by now but I can make more. What comic would you like to see on a button?
Some of you have already discovered the magic that is the “share” and “like” buttons under the comics but for those of you who have not—click now! You can share your favorite comic (like this one—Blades) with all your Facebook, Myspace, or Twitter friends! You’d be surprised how much sharing helps!
Thanks for your support!
